Piaa.
Does anyone know about how PIAA running lights are configured? I have the 912's and the other day I took a hard turn and they went out on me. I took one of them apart and put a voltmeter to the lead that goes to the bulb and I didn't have any voltage there. The thing is I can hear the relay clicking and my switch has power to it. Any advice?

yeah get a new car
that really beats me up. look for blown fuses, also you shouldn't hear the relay clicking unless the low beams are on.

Did you check the power lead coming out of the relay to the lights? It could also be a bad ground.

See...that's what I'm thinking...me and Derek checked the relay and it had power going into it but nothing coming out...I really don't think the relay would just go bad....I'm going to mess with it tomorrow........

Depending on when you bought your light setup. They had an issue with wiring harnesses and relays. Does your relay have the plugs on either end of it, almost like its part of the harness?

OK then your relay maybe faulty. And if thats the case then you will need to update the harness.

The local PIAA rep. asked me the model # of the lights and knew the new harness/relay # off the top of his head.
You might try calling PIAA direct. |
