Rear Lights? Clear vs. Stock
Hey..should i buy some clear tail lights for my 91 accord lx or should i stay stock? it is red in color and i'd like to funk it up a bit. Any ideas/suggestoins/warnings would be great. I am curious if i have to get new coloured bulbs for the back up lights/signal/brake lights or if the bulbs are already colored..thanks alot. I am looking to buy like $30 lights..not those $300 ones..thanks

I have found taillights for $30. They are just all clear..what do u mean by red clear lights? do u mean just a reddish tint all over ther rear lights instead of red and white and orange or what?

no, where the stock tailight is red the taillight is red, but where is amber/orange/brown it will be clear, just like the reverse part on your tailight

i think you should leave the taillights stock, but if you do decide to change it, make sure it's sleek and clean. Somtimes ppl get carried away with aftermarket exterior parts and end up making the car look gay. that's just my opinion though. whatever floats yo' boat. peace

I have a 94 accord, its white and i have the clear tail lights in them. I think they make it look alot cleaner and nicer, but they are also illegal although i've never been stopped. You will need red brake lights for them but all you have to do is pain the bulbs red with paint. You will have to repaint it every so often but its not too bad and its very cheap. just figured I'd donate my opinion here.

ya clears are nice...i wanted them..but there illegal so i just went with DOT approved Altezzas on my WHITE accord.....but those were 400 canadian....some people have told me altezzas don't look good on white....i honestly don't see the problem with the colur there..it doesn't clash or anything..looks insane at night... meh i like em! but if ur just look for cheap ones just get some paint and paint em or something..the bulbs at least... or find some cheaper white/red taillights...

I have red/clears on my 94, and I think they look nice. I don't like the look of all clears, and altezzas don't look that great to me, so this seems like the best choice IMO.

I put in a pair of carbon fiber altezza's on my
'94'cord, the color is stock gunmetal blue. it doesn't clash as much as it would if it were the regular clear altezzas.. |
