Wheel and shock question

Are 18s going to fit my 2000 honda civic without rubbing or messing up my steering. Also will stock struts work with a small drop like .75 inches or will they blow. Finally what is the best coilover/spring combo with what struts. A lot of questions and a lot of thanks for the help.

i wouldn't recommend the 18's but as long as you use the plus-size method it shouldn't rub. basically the stock tire size is 185/65/14, when you go to 15's it should be 195/55/15, 16's 205/45/16, 17's 205/40/15, 18's are 215/35/18.

also a small drop of .75" should be alright for a while with your stock struts but i wouldn't recommend using it for an extended period of time due to the increased wear it will add to your struts.
