http://world.honda.com/news/2006/4060109AcuraRDX/

2.3L huh...sounds k24 based, to me.
Also has honda's super mega ultra handling rim job all wheel drive system component configuration setup

wow, maybe this whole time they've been working out how to make a turbo'd engine both fuel efficient and completely reliable and are finally bringing it to the U.S.

Soooo....where's the turbo under all that crap? I also don't see the point of putting that filter where it is without a scoop. Engines make heat. Heat rises. Duh.

i agree it needs a scoop, but I would assume that the front grill with it being as it is probably pulls air up over the engine from up front.

but that's a pretty suv there, kinda looks like a newer subby one

Yeah I just saw this from another site. I like the concept but I dont think I can own one of these. I will end up upgrading that turbo within a month......

What excites me more is that these are swappable engines on the K-series family. ECU's will be easier to tune now cuz the MAP will finally ready boost. If I ever start another project, it will be a K-swap hybrid. The possibilities............

it has some sort of ram air like the new mazdaspeed 6.

and as for the suby look, kinda looks like one, but wait till subaru will start making their twin turbo flat 6 tribeca and legacy with more than 450hp. now, if the tribeca would not have such an ugly rear end

Are you sure its a turbo? There is an air box like this you can get from Japan for s2k's that improves air flow. It looks almost identical to this box.

The RDX does look like a nice little SUV, with a 2.3 tubro and 250hp it has almost as much power as teh 3.5v6 in the MDX.

they come only with a turbo and what you see on top of the engine is the intercooler.

A turbo'ed 2.3L? They're about 22 years late. See: 1984 Mustang SVO.

i was thinking the same thing

and yes it is turbo'd you can see the recirculation (blow off) valve, looks just like a DSM BOV and has a vaccuum hose comming off the top, right to the bottom right of the intercooler
