prelude exhaust options...

ok i am thinking im' going to order a header on monday andi figure i might as well get a catback exhaust at the same time. So im' thinking DC headers, 4-2-1 style. what would be the best size/diameter of piping for the catback part? I was thinking 2.25inches but im' not sure...ALSO, what muffler would u recommend? i want something quiet, yet with SOME deep tone to it and not too pricey...thanks

the geekz0r (11:03:46 PM): basicly, look at it this way...the 6speed is the same is the 5speed in 2,3,4,5,and 6...only the speeds are different because of the fd
the geekz0r (11:04:16 PM): so 2nd pulls like 1st in the 5speed, 3rd is like 2nd, etc.
PortugeeTex (11:04:26 PM): so whats 1st like then?
the geekz0r (11:04:49 PM): 1st is like hitting a cheeta in the ass with a tazer
PortugeeTex (11:04:53 PM): lmfao

you know nothing about modding a lude.

the DC header doesnt exsist anymore for preludes. good luck finding a brand new one. and ebay sells DC styled as in not the real deal. if do find a DC header plan on replacing it 6 months down the road.

you want max performace in exhuast: Greddy 4-2-1 header attached to a Greddy Evo or Evo 2 exhuast. get a high flow cat to. make the whole exhuast 2.75 inches.

sorry, i was grumpy waking up.
but if you really want a good set up the Greddy Full exhuast is one of the best. other luders get apex n1 or thermal RD.full cat-back.

so far my full Greddy set-up: High flow cat and Evo 2 exhuast have only costed me 580-590 bucks. note i dont have the header, nor will i buy it. waste of money if your going to turbo your car.
