Here I go again...Fiberglass Sub enclosure??

Okay, so I mentioned to the guy at this shop I went to yesterday that I was lookin to do somethin custom in my trunk for some subs and he mentioned that one of his guys had just gotten back from Las Vegas with some golden new knowledge about fiberglassing trunks for subwoofers? stuff...? huh...?

He was way above my head, and at the risk of sounding stupid(too late) I gotta ask what this is all about.

Are there any links anyone can provide where I could read about this stuff?

Thanks much!

I would have to do some research to get you a link but I can give you some incite right now...fiberglass enclosers are nice cause you can mold the enclosures into your trunk. It's really clean looking and works well for show but on a side note, it isn't cheap....I was gonna have two fiberglass enclosures for 10's in my trunk until the installer told me that it was gonna cost about $2,500 to do (equipment and install)

dont really know of any sites but i kow it isn't cheap but if ur willing to try it your self it will save alot, say around $300-$600,
im in the process of making a single 12'' box molded into passenger side 1/4. it hasnt been to hard, just makes ur car smell for about a week.

if u would like to try it look in some of the audio mags because they will give tech articles on how to do it every now and again
