Civic Si vs Lexus IS300
I got aem CAI and dc sports cat back, and some stereo shit and i'm a big guy, bout 6'4" 300lbs. Welp me and my friend lined it up, he was completely stock, except of course of the fast and the furious green neons lol. So we are stopped in the middle of the rd and we do the 3 beep thing and take off, kinda shitty start cause he didn't know to go on 3 beeps so i stopped and (only got a few feet) then we he gets next to me he goes so i went, had him all the way to middle of 3rd about 60-70 when i let off (40mph zone), and he continued on his way lol. My clutch is even slippin and i took him ;D So don't be intimidated by those is300's. Oh yea his car smelled like rotten eggs i think his cat was clogged or burned up lol Welp thats my story and i'm stickin to it

i drove a shit load of them. here lexuses are like assholes, everybody has one. well with my job i get to drive at least 3 or 4 every friday and saturday. they look nice, they seem fast but their smooth shifting pisses me off. I dunno but i think my accord will be pretty close to one. i'm not saying that i'll win.

Another point for Honda
Nice kill man, i havent really raced one, but i have heard mixed experiences. Many of my fellow tuners have slain the glitzy IS, but others have claimed that on the highway, they keep up pretty nice. If im not mistaken, they run the same engine you can find in a non tubo Supra. Does anyone know if its possible to put supra turbo kits on that engine? That would be interesting. (Along with some huge robot graphics on the side hahaha)

Yup, it'll fit. I read an interview of a Toyota engineer, and he said there was enough room to do it, and motor mounts matched up pretty well, with minor adjustment. He actually wanted to do one, but Toyota wouldn't let him. |

Actually that engineer is the one who designed the IS and his personal car is a twin turbo IS300, japanese version of course since he lives in Japan.
There are turbo kits available for the IS300, which means if done correctly, it'll pump out same type of power as a turbo supra, being that they are more or less the same exact engine. |
