O...this has gone too far

Alright...so I just got a new Summit catalog today (even though I've not-so-recently realized they suck hardcore) and noticed something that disturbed me greatly. While flipping through the "Street" portion of the catalog I noticed a nitrous kit from Nitrous Express. No big deal, right? Wrong. A closer inspection of the picture revealed that it was billed as a "Fast & Furious" kit and even seemed to have "F&F" silk screened onto the bottle. Damnit...someone kill me now...I feel an aneurysm (sp?) coming on.

That $hit is all over the place man. Go to AutoZone. You'll see floor mats with matching steering wheel covers....... . But like Hondaman-iac said, that is a part of NX little business gimmick........ It wont work on me tho....

Yeah I think I posted about this a while ago...

It's pretty gay...

Can't wait till they figure out how to market their F&F products in the next F&F movie w/o it looking REALLY weird...

Personally I find the bass tube that CC carries that is supposed to look like a Nitrous bottle particularly amusing/disturbing.....

If I remember right, APC has a full F&F line out. Bunch of ricer stuff like altezzas and floormats and crap. That's old news, though.

How can you ask that...isn't that one of the signs of the apocolypse? If it had been a decent movie, sure, go nutty. But a nitrous bottle is NOT a billboard. Car parts shouldn't have any sort of advertising angle other than the company's logo.

is the set more money or cheaper?
if its cheaper, buy it and then scrape all the crap off
if its more...send them a letter including your disgust and dissatisfaction in their gimmick

If I remember right it seemed really expensive to me. I've never priced sport compact nitrous systems, but this one was adjustable from 30-75hp (I know...astonishing power, huh?) with no add on fuel pump and it was going for (if I remember right) around $750. Seems insane since I could probably buy a Fogger kit for that much and get a 400hp shot.

They've got some good stuff, but I'd take a NOSzle kit anyday over an NX kit...especially when $750 = 75hp max shot. You could just go out and buy a Zex kit for a couple hundred less and take the guess work out of hooking it up. It's total crap IMO.

you know that NX is already offering a "better" NOSzle system right?? and you think ZEX is the best?? wow, no way of verifying that your fuel system isn't going static under nitrous application doesn't sound very good to me. have you seen NX's new products??

Zex is awful, at least from everything I've read. There are several members of my350z.com that have had awful results with Zex, awful customer support, bad everything. They removed it and got NX and are much happier. If I were to get nitrous, I would look into NX or Venom...

I haven't seen all of NX's new stuff, but what what I have seen hasn't impressed me more than the NOSzle kits (although they are a bit expensive). As for the Zex kits, no way am I saying their the best...in fact they seem a little mickey moused...but they are infinitely easier to hook up. The NX stuff always seems to be needlessly complicated. But the first time I saw a NOSzle kit I was floored...basically a fogger system without the drilling and customization but it still provides incredible atomization and distribution. But I'll have to check out NX's new stuff. It just seems insane to ask so much money for so little horsepower just because you've silk screened the name of a crappy movie on the bottle.
