I kinda want it to sound like a streetbike

and also i am getting the jdm V-tec motor and i was wonderin if it would be better to leave the Si transmition on it because it is a closer gear ratio transmition and then i could leave a V-tec in the start then V-tec will Kick in an shift up and maybe leave the v-tec more or at least stay ahead

that bairly makes sence... but i'll try to answer it.

vtec tranny > si tranny

keep the vtec tranny on the vtec motor. you'll stay in your upper cam lobe between high rpm shifts, where the SI is actually not as close ratio as the vtec tranny and between first and second you'll probobly fall below 5100rpms

Get Borla or Dynomax muffler and custom 2.5" mandrel bent pipe. Remove the catalytic converter. It'll be loud like hell.

no... a street bike is a diferent motor than a prelude motor. you wont get the extremely high rpm sound since your going only be able to rev to 7500 or so where as bikes can go.. well past that. and its a 2 cyclender motor opposed to a 4 cyclender. kinda like how yo ucant get a i4 to sound like a v8. if you let your exaust get too loud, not only will you get pulled over for it being illegal, it will sound like comp;lete shit. it will get raspy and you wont have alot of backpressure and you'll actually loose power... expecially low end.

if you want me to explane any more i can, but basically, different sized motors, different # of cylenders, different power bands, they wont sound the same

well... 4-1 give better top end power, but 4-2-1 give better all around power. however, i dont believe that anyone makes a 4-1 header for preludes since the 4-2-1 already has a hell of a time clearing the ground

My radio controlled model does 35,000 RPMs
The Yamaha R1 redlines at 18,000 RPMs

whew ...

But that's just revs, not hp or torque.

yeah the cherry bomb sucks compared to the others but I wanted to buy a Toyota truck and slap that onto it after I jacked it up. That's me ... fast cars and big trucks ... but take my word for it, I would smash the hell out of that truck if I had it, woudn't be no big-wheel city cruiser like the other lamers ...
