new to the style
Hey all,
My name is Jeff from Mississippi. Just thought I'd see what my roommate has been talking about for the past 4 months. I have a 2001 red civic EX and am looking to hook it up. Any suggestions? Hit me up... |

Well you already got the system down so I would go with the basic performance mods for now...Air Intake, Headers and Exhaust...I would go with the intake first though for some quik horsepower...

I bought my Eibach Springs from their site...they came pretty quick with no real hassles... |

i appreciate the assistance. i like that site yuo sent. the break down of the car types is rather helpful. what good would springs do for me?

well I bought lowering springs...from my perspective it would give your car a lower stance and like more aggressive look...if you get shocks with the springs it would help out a lot with your handling at high speeds...so thats always helpful when going fast on the highway or such...

well if you want too hook it up performance wise wait till march..thats when HKS plans to release their turbo kit for the 01+ (D17) engine. i got the o2 civic ex and so far i've got a SS, tints, new tails, CAI, strut Bar and i bought the factory windeflector. i'm cheap so i get all my stuff off ebay. if you got any questions about ur civ just ask me...i dont know a lot but i do know some and my bro's a honda tech so i just end up asking him about my car anyways (he's my b!tch)

cool. i appreciate it. i am having trouble finding a short shifter. i saw some on ebay, but I am not sure if it will work without an adapter. is there any place that has headlights with carbon fiber on em? i also would not mind some suggestions on where I can get a quality exhaust system and cold air intake for decently cheap.

heres a lint to the CAI that i got...it works good...easy install http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=2400125 407 For the Short Shifter get it from Revo Technica it's sold on ebay for about 70-90 bucks easy install....since our cars have the D17 series engine (roud exhasut ports) very few mods have come out for it and if there out there, there expensive as hell...try Arospeed.com obx.com dcsports.com greddy.com and some other well known places..oh and if you wanna put a factory body kit on it and wing (dont know what you have now) go to www.handaaccessories.com and they come prepainted and are pretty cheap and genuine factory
