0/1 guage wire question
I pretty much understand everything when it comes to wiring the huge guage wire, except one thing: how to you run ot guage into your amp? those screw terminals are tiny! I've heard you have to use a distrib block and run 4 guage to the amp. true?
and also, does anyone know of any online place that'll sell quality connectors, distrib blocks, fuses, fuseholders at DECENT prices? All I have is the ot gauge wire and the hardware it going to. |

I'm running mine to a distribution block and sending 4 AWG to each amp. I don't know of any amp that will take a 1/0 AWG lead all on its own.

The distro block is how its usually done..
But you could buy terminal adapters.. Basically the adapter screws onto your amp's terminal, and the adapter can accept the 1/0 awg..

Yeah, I've just about always used a block when it comes down to that....really works well when you have an amp with dual 4awg inputs for power and ground.
Try www.sounddomain.com's shop or www.thezeb.com for connectors and wiring needs. |
