anoying
top part of the heat sheild on my exhaust is rattleing. Its driving me crazy. The bottom part already broke off while driving down the road one day. Is it really necassary to have it on there?

im not quite sure how to get the top part of the heat shield off though. I don't have a macho man anymore to help me. He used to help me do stuff to my car.

Its very easy to do.
Just unbolt the exhaust (I do it at the header for simplicity) and remove the hangers. Then just cut/rip/melt/beat/magic-ify the shields off. Depending on which one it is, you may be able to just bend it out of the way from...whatever its hitting. |
