wheels rubbing

i put some 17 motegi m7 wheels on my 2000 civic si. i have it lowered with some h&r springs. when ever i take sharp turns the tires rub the inner fender liner. does anybody know what i should do?? would stiffer struts help, like kyb?? take out the liner will that cause corrossion? or do i just need coil overs to raise it? i really like the low agressive stance so i dont wanna raise it.!

how much are you lowered? it's a common problem for a 17" rim to rub, lock to lock, don't take tight turns ;x

youcould see if you can find out the spots of the rub..ie taking the rim off and looking for the points of contact. it idt can be seen then cut that area of the fender lining to accomodate. if it's the lip of the fender take you a dremel and cut notches all the way down then take a rubber mallet and tap it flush w/ the fender..

the bat method to roll a fender can be costly in the form of a new fender...

Hope this might help.....

A camber system might help if you don't have one installed yet.
