Oh boy...damn these new tricky websites
Give you guys a little background on this one...
A few months ago this new girls joins work. Lets call her Kelly for the sake of it. So I really start to take an interest in Kelly and find her a really nice girl to get along with. Want to ask her out but pussy out every time, and have one very awkward (sp?) incident along the way with a 20 bill that has my number on it (person at a party wrote my number down, called me next day, I bought them something, they paid me with the same money back). I work at BB, she's a cashier, fill in the rest. Anywhoo, at one point way too many people find out somehow and are bugigng her saying something likes her yada yada, basically high school stuff. So I get the guts, ask her out, but she says that she wants to stay single at the moment for a few reasons, and also its her last year in Uni, and she doesn't want anything getting in the way. She was all nice about it and I'm guessing that what she was saying was legit. Then goes the usual I don't mean to hurt your feelings, lets be friends. Blah blah. By this point I already have her msn and that as far as we've went so far, though there were a few nice convos. It has been about 2-3 months since that time I asked her. Recently though she started chatting with me more and more. A few days ago she told me she was feeling bad the past few weeks, doesn't feel like going out, problems with friends. So I tell her that if she ever feels that she wants to go out but her friends are doing the usual "bar/club routine", she can call me. We finally exchange numbers. This is where the website comes into play. Today I see this website in her name...some www.crush007.com (there's more to the addy). I type it in, and it shows that it's a love/sex quiz. You fill in the questions, it predicts your future sex/love life. Well I do so. Among the questions are one that ask about how many times per week you masturbate, do you watch porn, ever have sex, and your biggest crush. Well, I filled them all out truthfully including the biggest crush, who in all honesty was her. It took me the most effort to get over her (still not 100%), partly because of seeing her at work constantly. I click submit, find out it's a trick, and all the answers are emailed to her. So I've been dooped and now she has all this info. I feel like all at once. I guess I just put this here to vent, but lets hear your responses. Am I screwed, like will this make me look stupid and desperate in her eyes? Or will she laugh it off? *sigh* |

I think the answer lies in the middle. It all depends on what type of person she is. If she's reasonable and whatnot she'll probably think you're just pining over her and let it go. If she's too sensitive she may take it the wrong way. I dunno man...I wouldn't worry about it too much. By the way, what does BB stand for?

yeah normally if a girl would sends you a site like that she probably wanted to know how you felt. I wouldnt worry too much about it cause if she's a chic that is worth it then she won't be pissed, infact she may like it. but best of luck from CircuitCity haha

I agree with most of what's said above. Hey, I've gotten tricked from one of those sites, care to pass the rest of the link over? Coolness, thanks in advance. Anyhow, even if she was bitchy for any reason, I think she would have liked it, or else why would it have been sent to you? Personally, I would've laughed and thought it was cute..and then laugh again. Maybe she's starting to talk to you more now that you've been kinda distant, maybe she likes your attention. Hm, love doctors via hstuners.com. Now..that oughta be its own thread.
BTW. For you Circuit City workers, what's the discount for employees there? There's this assistant manager here in town who buys from CC and resells on ebay. Go apply for Bank of America, I get oober cool benefits there.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I too will say that her reaction depends entirely on the type of person she is; if she is a bitch, she will react poorly. If she is cool, she will at very least be flattered by it, maybe even to the point of wanting to date you (unless you put you masturbate 10 times a day which would just freak her out ). Best of luck, let us all know how she ends up reacting.

well at my store they pretty much did away with the kickass benefits they used to have, except for the infinity and polkaudio accomodations (I spent $194 on a pair of subs that retail for $455/each) and we get something like 60%, if not more, on Polkaudio equipment |

I still say she's interested. Why else would she have sent that to you? Unless she's a total biatch and did that just to be mean but you would have know that about her already.

Just to clarify something, she didn't send the link only to me. It was in her msn name, for everyone to see.
The funny thing is the administrative section to check the responses is not password protected unless you do it afterwards. I put in her email and only two people replied (me and some other guy). The bad thing is we both have her listed as our biggest crush. :S Side note: regarding discounts, I don't know if you have it the same way bro, but at BB here it's cost plus 10%. So if there's a good gross margin on the product, kickass discount (majority of home theater, car audio is huge, and accessories are ok), the rest is eh. Vendor deals are cool though also. |
