hold on, i think it maybe be different.... brb..... the 89 crx 1.6i/VTi came with a 158hp@7600rpms and 111lb/ft@7000 b16a1 and the 89 civic SiR hatch came with a b16a 158hp@7600rpms and 112lb/ft@7000 and the 89 1.6i/VTi had a b16a1 156hp@7600 111lb/ft@7000 considering the high peak tq and hp and the VTi and the fast its a b16 i think these might have been the first vtec engines. they are all JDM and euopean engines never came to usa. all have 10.2:1 compression
