Welcome to the board. Just remember sometimes, that not every mod is a good mod.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on Mods... I'm looking to get into the performance mods but i don't want to go nuts i'm looking for cost effective upgrades that will make a good difference...
The first thing i was going to do was my header and exhaust....Is this the right first step? If not what is? And will this make a major difference (keeping in mind my car is Auto not Stick)... |

you want a big performance gain. get a turbo or SC.
headers and back are a good choice. but you will probably only gain anyways from 20-50 HP. thats if you use a cat.

BTW: Didn't mean to sound like a big newbie in that last post, i was just wondering if anyone else had any suggestions for a first step i just figured exhaust was cheapest and thus making it best to start off with

Exhaust is gonna be put on right after i get the header back, The rebuild and valve job was 225 and the port/polish was 400 so all together its 625 (CDN) then once the header is back i'll be able to throw the exhaust on i can't wait!!!
