Power Cable for the Subwoofer Install
Hello,
I am about to install a powered Infiniti Basslink subwoofer and I wonder if any of you know the easiest and, preferably, step-by-step instructions on routing a power cable from the battery to the trunk. I know I should go underneath the carpet, but I want to avoid unnecessary panel removal (etc.) if possible. Any ideas? Drumboy60 |

didnt I just see this exact same post? you dont need to cross post.
anyway, if nobody anserwed, the best way is to use a coat hanger. unbend it and make it straight as possible. youll have to take some of the carpeting out along your door sill, just enough to get the hanger through, and enough to work with the cable. Use lots of duct tape to secure the cable to the hanger, then just pull it through. youll prolly get stuck a few times, but youll get the idea. just remember not to run the power wire on the same side as your signal wire or youll get interference. |
