I Miss My Ex

I think I took it for granted. I really miss her. Its more of just having someone there with you. Being alone is definately different. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Bad at night when you sleep alone. Oh well, its all part of the single life until I meet someone else. The ex called and wants to come over tonight. I told her thats fine but maybe I should've said no.

Dang man,

I know how that stuff goes. Its really hard to get used to not being around someone all the time when your used to it. But if your serious about not getting back with her its probably not a good idea to have her over all the time. Because they will work their magic on you and make it even harder.

Your going to have a hard time staying broke up with her I think.

I knew you'd be the first to reply. Yeah, I hear what your saying. I hope eventually we both can be totally comfortable around each other as friends eventhough we dated for like 2 years.

Good luck being friends, I hope that works out ok for you. It makes it a little harder after youve had sexual relations with someone then if you didnt. But it really is cool that you are still on good terms with eachother. You never know. Maybe things will change for the good for both of you, and things will be better then before.

hmmmmmmm.......this is a hard one......i am in your girls situation........I would love to be back with my ex but I dont want to rush him or force him into anything he doesnt want to do.......after sharing a part of my life with him i would rather keep him as a friend than to loose him all together. Maybe thats what she is trying to do......let you know that she will be there for you........Or maybe she is trying to get you back in which case you need to let her know that if she still wants you in her life than she needs to back off a little and not be so pushy.......Good luck babe! I know its hard........Take care of your self first!

Good rule of thumb I read somewhere: time to get over her (or for her to get over you) after breakup (or that lingering after the breakup) and just be friends = 0.5 x time you dated. Go out with someone for 2 years, count on a year before you're comfortable being j/f, or vice versa.

To keep everyone updated, when she came over we just talked. I thought it was best if we just stay friends. We discussed that it might be hard to feel comfortable around each other as friends since we went out for 2 years but I think everything will be ok.

Just lead her a little more next time, and correct for wind.

Seriously, just always keep it in the back of your head that the relationship ended for a reason, ya know?

I felt the EXACT same way when I broke up with my girl. I thought I missed her so I called her to hang out and that night I relized, I just missed being with someone. I didnt really miss "her". Oh well, im single and loving it now. Met a 3 girls last night that I remember, I somehow have 5 different numbers without names to them. Moral os the story, dont drink and drive.
