Lose your license?

How many times / how long have you lost your license for?

I'm on my second time with my license being suspended, this time is for 5 months (I think).. The first time was back in December and was only for 30 days.. What about you guys?

I was gonna ask the same thing.. you ask the question like losing it is common.. and it isn't. Losing it that much should tell you something :o

I've certainly never lost my license but I think everyone's being a little hypocritical...

You ALL could have lost your licenses at some point if there was a stickler prick of a cop around...

I've DEFINATELY been in a couple situations where the cop could have taken my license for "reckless driving" and I'm sure whether or not you've been caught ALL of you guys have done something that could have gotten your license suspended given the right (wrong) cops/judge/prosoctuer or whatever...

ha wow I was expecting more people would have lost it other than..well me.. The first time I got pulled over (3 days after I got my car) I ran from the cops so they didn't charge me with eluding but they nailed me on everything else.. like imprudent speeding and not wearing my seatbelt.. The imprudent speeding is what got me for my first suspension, and I contested the seatbelt charge (I was wearing my seatbelt ) and the DA at court put it on file for a year and gave me a $100 fine.. A month or two after court (Which was like 5 months after I got pulled over) I got pulled over again for doing 13 over.. Which pissed me off because it was on a road out in east gish, everyone speeds down the street, it's just the cop was being a dink and decided to pull me over.. So that's why I have my license suspended again.

edit - and yes it is kind of common for at least someone I know to not have their license.. In my "car club" there is almost always one member that doesn't have his license.. Right now mine is suspended and my friend just has a worker's permit.. still waiting to goto court.. and another friend of mine is waiting to goto court too, possibly losing his for a year and a half..
