nitrous is a non-flamable gas. looks more like his motor blew apart while spraying and the oil caught on fire

n2o by itself isn't flammable, but mixed with gasoline it is highly flammable (more flammable than just gasoline)
my guess is he sprayed nitrous, blew a fuel line (probably a wet kit) and the heat of th engine caused it to spark...
