I was wondering what it takes to mold your rear and front bumpers??? How much would this cost?? Anyone think it be cool to mold my oem bumpers?? I love the stock accord look and will not get a bodykit maybe xenon rear valanve and side skirts an a greddy front lip so it wouldnt matter if I moldede the bumpers since those just replace my allready existing lips.

A friend of mine is in autobody classes. He is molding the side skirts on his Probe and once I get my Wings West kit in, we will be molding the bumpers and skirts. I will ask him about how its done and post it up here, if no one else has posted anything.

Dude, seriously not to be mean, but why would you do that? It would be tough to later work on your car.

Well by the time I do this I will be done doing stuff to my car I was just asking cause I ahve no idea how much it would run me. PLus I think it would look really sweet. There really isnt much I couldnt do with the bumpers molded.

waste of money. and its more than likely going to crack if your car is a daily driver.

I know you didn't ask for an opinion on them, but what are you going to do when some assclown woman driving her SUV talking on her celly backs into your car in a parking lot and cracks the hell out of your bumper? Your bumper is molded on, so you're going to have to rip the sucker off and then have it molded again after you fix your bumper. And like mrs. ej6 said, it will most likely crack after a while if it's your daily driver.

Oh, and I'd do it for about $6-700 including painting.

ya it is not a good idea to mold your bumpers on. think about where your flex points are on your car. the side skirts though would be ok. but to do it all you need is some dura-glass, filler, and alot of time to sand.
