my car won't start when warm
i bought a '90 accord, and it runs great, and starts fine.three weeks later, different story. in the morning it starts great everytime, i mean everytme. but if i were to go somewhere and and get back to my car in five-ten minutes, it doesn't start, and then i wait 5 minutes, and it starts fine. so there is a gray area, of when i turn the car off(after it's already warm)to about 20 min after that it won't start. it will try but nothing.
when idling, sometimes it is a little low, say 600. |

does it crank ? i know there are some problems with the igniter on the 90-93 acords and sometimes leaks in the intake manifold will prevent the car to start, but the most common problem (the car does not crank) is the EFI relay.

Make sure you don't have a Bosch ign. cap in place either as your coil could be getting fried. The Bosch caps do not make a good connection in the coil and will cause the problem you described.
Usually if an ignitor goes it just goes, and your Tach. needle will jump all over the place. The main realy could be the issue as well. Do you smell an excess of fuel when the crank no start occors? |

Well if you wanted to just try to replace parts I would say start with a main relay.
