Ex-r
I just happen to be at the good 'ol Honda dealership today and noticed an emblem for a Civic EX-R? Is that like Canada's Si-R is actually a US Si?

I was under the impression that Canada didn't have an SI model, just the SiR. And I know that this EX-R emblem was for a Civic, I was talking to my friendly Honda representative and he printed me out some of the ordering information that they use, and for a civic, one of the replacement OEM emblems was the EX-R. Maybe I'll ask him what the hell they are for when I go pick up my replacement emblems. |

Just an emblem, not on a car? Sounds like Honda pandering to the ricer market.

I dunno, he said it was an OEM emblem, which means it existed on a car at one point and time, unless he got his terms messed up and didn't mean to say OEM, or he is lying, but he is a pretty good guy, can't see him lying to me

If I get a chance, I will scan in the paper that he had for ordering and show you what I am talking about. Has anyone ever seen a EX-R on anything?

I think it was a canadian. It was a 4dr that had/has a leather interior option.
I'm not sure but I know I saw this same thing discussed on another forum. And if you search for it on google lots of the links have french/spanish writing making me think canada or south america.

The Honda Civic EXR only exists in Mexico.
In Canada, for civics, the SIR = your Si and Si = your Ex.

if you go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and click "Honda Automotive Parts", choose 2000 Civic EX Coupe 5 Spd (KA5MT) and choose "emblems" from the pull down menu, there is an EX-R badge in the diagram but this particular website won't let you order it. Just thought it was interesting.
