depends what your budget is.
normally a good start is a CAI, headers, exhaust... just the basic stuff.

I need some really cheap stuff. I have a very sall budget right now. I just need something that will increase the horses a lil bit. Like maybe something to do with the polution control that i can take off to make it faster or something.

you're talking about the cat?
Oh ok, well don't take it off, just get a higher flowing one, no need to dump pollutants into the air. you can find high performance cats at any import shop/ online store. It might be a little harder to find a direct bolt on to your car (I'm not too sure about this), but you can always have a muffler shop bend you your own exhaust system and weld the flanges on there as well. You can purchase CAI's for about 80-150 on ebay depending on the make, if you can even find one for your car model. Header, Eh... that might be tricky finding one.

well i was thinkin about things that were on the engine cause i know that they used things back then that were not needed and that could be takin off to increase the horsepower.

.. like what?
I dont think there are any 'power' restricting devices or un-necessary utilities on your engine. Any older accord owners want to back me up on this? I'm really not too sure, so dont take my word for it, but I wouldn't think there are any restrictive .. items.. so to speak. Check out www.ebay.com if you really cant afford to buy brand name, AEM, Injen, etc... Of course you always run risks of buying shitty quality junk on ebay, but if you're really strapped for cash, that might be your only option.

Some people here have older gen hondas in general.. I dont think anybody here has older accords. The funadmentals apply to all cars though..
How many miles does your car have? If it is high, you might want to get it compression + leakdown tested before you try push it too hard.

hmm.. take it into a shop and have them run a compression test.. you can actually do it yourself, but I would advise against doing that.

How much would it cost for them to do a compression test on it.

As far as doing cheap mods you will have to be handy and creative but i seen you on www.3geez.com which should give you all the "How To" sections you will need. Being on a small budget is tough but i suggest start saving and do Intake, Headers, Full exhaust but its not gonna be a low budget except the intake can be made rather cheap. Good Luck
