Once again, you may notice some posts missing. Play nice guys. If you want to start a debate on importance (or lack thereof) of quality cabling, start a thread, go to town, and be respectful.
Anyways, systems. Carry on. |

nlot bad systems better than most here .People with civic's here *( no offence) have really shite systems its eaither really shite ( cheap gear verry chea that is or its ground breaking technology) i never got my head round why they do that and cant get a avrage sysytem ( if there is suck) like what most have here 2/3 subs componants etc one thing i will give honda their cars are very user friendly. i used to have a vauxhall cavalier ( gm ) and that thing was the worst thing i ever bought.

Nothin but the factory cassette (!!!) and a pair of Polk replacements. Not about the sounds right yet. That's the last step in the process

I've had all kinds of stereos in all kinds of different cars. I own a install shop called audio werks.
For the dood that stereotypes civic systems as shitty = In my civic i had 6 comp vr 10s -- then i went to 4 comp vr 12's -- now i'm putting 3 L7 titanum 15s in it. I'm gunna see how my Ma audio hc 2502 pushs them [2500 watts @ .5 ohm] and dont flame the ma audio amps, if you do your ignorant. I basicly did the the 6 10s for props, it was loud, but it wont carry like the 15s will. My personal stereos are basicly what everyone wants to see, not really what i like. I have no choice. My car is a rolling business card. My digy cam went to shit, gotta get a new one and hopefully i can get some pics up. I just did a 01 chevy extended cab truck with 2 l7 12s in it. 1" plexi glass front, box is black with a white inside, neons, ect.. it looks pretty tight. 2 punch 800s - punch 400.4 on mids and highs [kicker resolution] I'm doing 2 15 l7 titanums in a xtra cab 99 toyota tacoma.. it'l be tight. ... in "steet bass" spec ported boxes I'm also doing some small installs right now.. 2 15s in a 4 runner, 2 alum 10s in a firebird [what a damn *****] ect ect.. i'm done |

this be the system that I have, therein being that which I like and perhaps even adore, for it is mine, and is Good.
- dual 12 inch Rockford 400watt subs in very custom boxes - one Rockford 300x amp (actually pulling out 370 watts) going to the 2 subs, sounds awesome - 2 Infinity 4x6's in the front running off the deck... I've just about killed them now, I need another (higher power rating) set - the deck is a JVC 7700... the one with everything but the DVD/MP3 capability. 300 bucks, on sale from 500! L33t. - all 12 gauge cable to subs, 8 gauge to amp, the nice gold-plated connexion stuff too. ...that's it so far, I should be upgrading soon, w00t! I wanna add a few 6x9's and another amp... or 2... and maybe another pair of 12's... |

**AVOID SONY AT ALL COSTS**<----From experience now lemme tell you what I got... Sony Xplode Head Unit SUCKS! Door -->Sony Xplode 6.5"s (alright, but still warrantied, and that why) Rear Deck-->Sony Explode 2-way 6x9"s (1 is blown, and thats cuz theres no more warranty ) Kenwood 600w pushing two(2) MTX Thunder 6000 10"s (decent bass, but could do better) MTX Thunder 4244 amp pushing two(2) Kenwood 2-way 6x9"s in boxes, and a Boston Acoustics Rally Series 5&1/4" component system, including Neo 3r tweeters (in Custom Q-Form Kick Panels)<---nice kick panels Dynomatted trunk (really does keep the rattleing to a min) now lemme tell you my future plans (if you care) Full make-over with a Boston Acoustics/Alpine hard configuration alpine MP3/CD 60Wx4 head unit Boston Components all over, Alpine 10" subs... and the amps are still undecided.... one thing is for sure though, one of these days im gunna rip the whole damn car apart and add about 100lbs of dynomat extreme to the whole thing!!!! (im in love with the stuff) i have pictures if anyone is interested |

My dad owns a car audio store so i'm his demo car. I'm pretty sure i can say i have one of the best sounding cars in my city. ohh and it's in a 1992 honda civic hb
head unit: was apline cda 7893...will be a pioneer screen (avh6500dvd) front speakers were jl 6.5" component but are going to be are alpine components: type x spx f17m rear i have 2 pair of alpine type spr 132 a for subs: i have a jl 10w7 in the high output box but i'm putting 2 10w7's ported. for an amp i have a mmats (i forget the model number) which has the db drag modification done to it. the rep told me it's running about 2500 watts rms. i have a mmats sq 4070 for my speakers witch is 70 watts x 4 also i have 2 rockford fosgate power caps with digital display. i am using all lightning audio wires (which are made by rockford i think) i also have brown nread all through my car. (everywhere:ceiling, floor, doors...) i also want to put in a ps2 and 2 other screens. |
