First date...
Ok, so we've all probably been on the cookie cutter first date, dinner and a movie, right? Not that there's anything wrong with dinner and a movie, but it's kind of a been there, done that situation. Well, I just want to see what ideas you guys and girls have for a first date. I'm not going on any first dates anytime soon (that I know of), but just for the future I'd like to have some cool ideas in mind.

amusement park, water park, regular parks (ya know swing sets, jungle gyms ect.)...I have a thing with parks..I dunno. I dig guys with sense of humors (I wasn't really sure where to pluaralize that at) so I like a guy who can act like a little kid every once in a while. Road trips...nothing makes you have a convo like being "stuck" in a car together. Drive-ins, driving range. Ok now i have a thing with parks and driving....I have issues!

Is there a girl who doesn't want a guy with a sense of humor?
I'd vote dinner and a movie. Haha, j/k. Well, not totally....but it is the obvious date, as stated. If the timing works out, I'd say dinner and a play, or dinner and a symphony...unfortunately, though, good plays/symphonies aren't always going on. Maybe you'll even need to have a road trip to get to a bigger city to enjoy it? Maybe dinner and a nice jaz bar, or a good comedy club. I guess they all involve dinner....but dinner isn't really a necessity. It's just nice to make a whole evening out of it. For a cheap date. Taco Bell & frisbee. b |

Comedy club would be good....brings out a guys sense of humor. (hehe like how I snuck that one in there?)...esepcially when you both laugh at the same off beat joke that no one else understands.

Ha...I can't remember the last time I had a first date. Mini golf or bowling would probably be fun...or maybe ice skating.

Comedy Clubs are great.. Start off with a nice dinner, then go to the Comedy Club, the club will give you something to talk about afterwards.. Then If your both up for it, go on a walk some where and get to know eachother a little better.

Yeah, comedy club is a cool idea! I'm always watching the comedians on the Comedy Central shows like Premium Blend and stuff. I love to laugh! I like bowling, I'm not very good at it, but it's always fun to make an a** out of yourself and be able to laugh about it!

I had sex with a chick in a park! It was crazy Seriously though, I think the movies is the most anti social place you can take a girl on a first date. I mean, you want to get to know the girl right? So why take her to a place where you spent about 2 hours in silence? Just a thought. I like to take her to the beach.

Ive never been on a "real" first date. By the time im willing to spend money on a girl, ive been with them for a month or so, (parties and sex are free). lol I took this one girl on a hot-air ballon ride on valentines day once. The basket thing was covered in roses. she had fun...

hahaha nice one RR....hehe...and dayum... I'm quite impressed with the romantic side. As long as the girl wasn't afraid of heights I think that would win just about any girl over. That would be so awesome.

I'm curious to know Toykilla and if you don't mind me asking, what's been your longest relationship?

I was just wondering, because from what I've seen of you on here, you just seem like a player. Sorry if I've offended you. I guess I was wrong.

I can neither confirm nor deny that allegation. Ahhh, so many posts, so much time. I'll start from the top....Foreman Grill? Those things are frikkin fire hazards. Or at least the old ones, with no temperature control...the first time I used one, I just couldn't believe my chicken was cooked in 2 minutes....crazy stuff. Girls...hmmm...some of 'em are clingy, some of 'em aren't. I usually find that I'm the one wanting to spend time with them....except for this one girl I dated for a while, I wanted to spend time with her and all, but I didn't realize that she wanted to spend so much time with me.....and I think it frustrated her, I just didn't know she was taking things as seriously as she was. If I had known...well, who knows what woulda changed in my life. Most relationships are expensive, though. I just wanna find a girl who'll let me be a cheap ass and not get pissed at me! b |

You guys and gals are from the US. I'm up in TO Canada. All the girls I've dated get the royal treatment. The downside to that is that they expect the world and a half. Most are very materialistic up here. I thought I found a laidback, tell you like it is...girl. She didn't like the treatment. I sent roses on her birthday....Valentines Day was 2 weeks later and sent balloons and her favorite blue roses (something different). She blew me off like I didn't exist.

the balloons and flowers are thoughtful and all...and I'd accept them from a guy don't get me wrong. But most girls that tend to reject the "typical" gifts are looking for more sentimental gifts. Like an inside joke sorta thing. Something that shows you pay attention to her when she is talking and when she is around you. Or ask her friends what kind of stuff she is in to if you aren't sure. Like if there is something that she really really wants but won't fork out the $$ for it, and you want to get something to shock the hell out of her...get it for her. Of course she can't react 2 ways with that though. Be extremely happy or get mad at you cuz she wanted to buy that thing for herself. But you gotta get presents and what not that show that you pay attention to her.
