gosh dern yeah!
just got my civic out of the shop, for $960 bucks i know have a D16Y8 in my hatch, the only bad about it was i have to back and get the new clutch put in, but omfg this is sweet!!! im so happy!!!!!!
for $960 i got the engine, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, upgrade altenator, and installed.!!!!! now to go get that new clutch!!!! i went to a local "speed" shop and some guy just sold them a totaled 96 ex. i noticed that one of my friends was there and he told me that he worked there and i said that i screwed my car up. well he pulled some strings and sold me the totaled 96 for 960 dollars, and they gave me a loaner car so i could goto orlando this weekend to find a place to live(thats another story!) this was on wednesday, well i got a call on saturady that my car was "running" but the clutch was damaged so they orderd me a new one oem version. the engine has 98,000 miles on it so i am really happy!!!

haha sounds like you're really psyched man. I remember how that is, when i test drove my car before buying it i didn't get on it at all and drove it like a chick would (inner city anyway). But once i got on it for the first time and heard the vtec i was hysterical.

its a fair price. It sounds u are one your way. Give yourself about a year of playing with it. U will be getting tired of that little D16. Then u will either want forced induction or like in my case a bigger engine. Have fun.
