94 Integra non-vtec vs. Mustang Cobra w/ NOS
Hey guys. This happened a couple of years ago, but I'm new to hondastyle so I'll tell you my story. I just dropped off my dad at the airport to go to Asia. On my was back a mustang cobra pulled up next to me. I just wanted to get home. I saw that he was looking at me from the corner of my eye. And man he was revving that sh**. I looked over and saw the Snake on the fender so I was liek "kool". All of a sudden he takes off. I didnt know what was going on. But I saw white cloud of smoke come from his exhaust. It was NOS. So I needed to teach this guy a lesson. Okay, now here's the match:
94' Acura Integra 1.8L non-vtec Mods: fuel, exhaust, spark, turbo, nos, upgrade 12 lbs. boost; 125 Shot Mustang Cobra Mods: unknown, NOS Now he guns it and I gun it. God damn those things are fast..... but not fast enough. I easily ate him up and you should've seen the look on his face. Imagine getting chewed up by a 1.8 with a 5.0. Then he hit the Nos and flew by me. I blasted my NOS and his face was like this now, I must've been at 160. Well...... a 160 right by the state trooper. I said to myself F*** that. I aint stopping. Then in the mist I saw a huge barrackade. I was like damn. I got taken in, fingerprinted, mugshotted, the works. But the funny thing is I was 17. My mom had to come get me. Well, they kept the engine. How screwed up was that. But when my day got home. We got that SH** back. We knew somebody in the force and traced the engine to an auction. We had to buy back MY engine for 500 dollars. |

i like it how people call everything NOS...
NOS is a brand, not a substance. nitrous, damn't, nitrous. fnf wannabe btw: he squeezed when he took off, then hit it again while you guys were running? what was the point of that other than wasting the bottle? and going 160? what is your gear ratio to hit that? I am not that familiar with the gearbox but I highly doubt your car has the gearing to go that high. then there is a barricade, holy crap. luckily you have 22in rotors and 12 piston calipers to stop your car at 160mph to keep from hitting the barricade. dork..

Holy crap!! Someone gets it!! First time I met someone here who agrees NOS is a company name. Saying I got NOS is like saying I got Vortech regardless of the supercharger type. Spray is another that cracks me up... |

NOS is also an abbr. for nitrous oxide system. Therefore, it would work saying it with any kind of system. Doesn't matter if it's a company or not. |

go back to chemistry, NOS is a brand, NO2 is the chemical compound. An abbreviation is a shortened version of a word such as "assoc" for association. As in the assoc. that you have implied would mean that NOS is shortened form for nitrous, which it is not.

nitous oxide system is what holly calls thier nitrous kit, NOS is the abreviation for their product... and if you look.. i believe NOS is copywrited to holley performance products... so the abbr. cant be used univeraly used for any brand

Re: 94 Integra non-vtec vs. Mustang Cobra w/ NOS
I'm trying real hard to believe any part of this but I can't. None of it makes sense.
-A white cloud of smoke means someone has n2o? Damn there's a bunch of clunkers running around here that have it I guess. -What is "upgrade 12lbs boost"? What turbo are you running? -You better have more mods than you listed to run 125 shot with 12psi. -.... What the heck am I even typing this for? This guy isn't gonna show his face again. If you want us to even think about believing you, you'd better post up some pics, dyno slips, list of mods, etc.

LOL! Then the cops made a barricade just to stop you? If you saw the barricade, I doubt you would be able to stop in time lol. They also wouldn't set them up, maybe a spike strip. Then they handcuffed you? So you're typing this from jail, with an impounded car I take it.
LOL why am I wasting time, as the others said? |

Well I'm probably the only one who'll agree with that.. Except, we'll call it an acronym (not an abbreviation).. And its should be typed *nos* and not NOS. And this story combines so many missconceptions it isnt even funny..
