4WS problem 1995 Gen 4 Prelude Si - HELP!!!
How's it going all?
I've got a small (I hope) problem with my 1995 Prelude Si. A few weeks ago, I noticed the 4WS light was comming on, and staying on, so I took it to my Honda service centre, and they said it was a problem which may need to be traced through the car's computer system and could be quite costly. They said it can be caused due to say hitting a curb, or knocking the wheel. Anyways, the light turned off by itself a few minutes after I left the Honda service centre, saving me from any repairs. The problem has since re-occured, comming on last Saturday, and still hasnt' resolved itself. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what was found to be the cause, and what was done about it? Thanks peeps! |

I wouldn reset the ECU..
If you reset the ECU while the problem is there, then your only telling the ECU to accept the prob.. I really think you should try and get a reading.. Who knows, it maybe something more serious.. I'm not that familiar with the possible problems of the 4WS system..

Uh...I know this has nothing to do with your problem, but uh, the US never got a 95 Si with 4ws. 93 or 94 was the last year.
