what do u guys think about this
turning a civic into rear wheel drive could it be done. would there be any performance increases.

yes it could be done. doubt you could make it street legal.

It would be perfectly street legal as long as it passed emissions (if you have them in your area, I don't =) ) If you are going for a rear drive civic, why not just get a drivetrain off a CR-V, and make it all wheel drive. Or even get the rare all wheel drive civic drivetrain and use that. If you are going to convert, you might as well do it the right way and get all four corners in motion.

if too much is cut from the chassis or too much modifcation to it, it wouldnt be street legal.

The only reason that "THING" I don't know what to call it, has front wheels is to get it on the trailer. There is no way on God's green earth the front wheels touch the ground when letn er go. That front end of that thing will shoot staright up in the air when punched.
What a waste of a chasis. |
