Pre made protien shakes...
So now that i'm back in school. Sometimes I just don't have time to fuck around and come home to make a shake after a work out. What if I made the shake. Kept it in my cooler, kept it cold with ice packs, and drank it after my work outs? I just need to save time during my day. Would that work? Or would the protien be useless after that long?

I'd think it'd be ok, they have protein drinks you can buy that are already made and they aren't even refridgerated unless the store sticks them in the fridge.

If protien expires do you have to eat meat moments after you kill the animal?
You're fine. I wouldnt do it for days because it might grow something but a day a room temp isnt going to do anything to it. By the by. Your body can only absorbe 17-22grams of protien in a single sitting. If you're taking these regularly try to stay within that as to not harm your body. OTherwise its a great tool to aid in recovery. I use them all the time for cycling. |
