nope since its a Darton sleeved block you should just be able to bore it out to 89mm.

since you're boosting I'd seriously consider an aftermarket oil pan that has a larger capacity than stock.

i just like the idea of extra oil to soak up all the extra heat. not really necessary, its just what I'd like to do.

hmmm, so stock would be fine? how much boost would run on stock or does that even matter?
i also got to get internals. im thinking wiesco but what rods?

I guess it depends on if the turbo is water cooled or not. Since Im looking at a GT ball bearing turbo thats water cooled, I dont really care about additional oil for cooling (just a better radiator). But you could also always add an external oil cooler.
Look at what kind of power you want to make, instead of what boost level, in order to decide on what kinds of internals you want to use. Eagle/Scat rods are nicely priced and hold up to 500hp, but dont hold to revs really over 9000 (how often is that really a factor though) Wiseco pistons are a nice choice because they have the tightest tolerences and are most like an oem piston. Their skirts are also coated, whereas others are not....which is kinda nice. |

i plan to boost 12 daily and 20 when needed.
i want to make 500 or 600hp.
