FL summers=northern winters
i was talkin with some FL fellow natives how we were deproved of snow activities as children and "sandball fights" and "digging holes" came up and the 2 northies that were in the room looked at us like we were nuts. but thats what we had instead of snow, so our "snowball fights" consisted of making a lemon sized ball of wet sand, letting it bake and rolling it in dry sand, and then layering wet and dry sand ontop to get it to about baseball size, and about the same density. huge bruses and up until 11 or 12 someone would always end up crying. digging holes was even more fun and i have no idea why. we would dig. sometimes all day to make a 3-5 ft deep hole 20-30ft in from the ocean, basically go till you have at least 1ft of water in there, then you build your own corner with a drink holder, ash trey(when we were 15-17 and it was cool to smoke), arm rests, the whole 9 yards then you'd sit in the hole till the surf came in and washed it away, but you had to stay in.... ahh good times. sucks being old
ive been thinking alot about this comming snow season and winter activities have been on my mind lately

yeah the east coast of FL besides daytona and miami are all real short. all the ones around me were usually 20-40ft from dune to shore, sometimes alot less, summertime you might have a day or 2 with a nice big flat area, not likely though. never really been to the west coast beaches but i hear its about the same

West coast isn't very entertaining unless you have a boat to go wakeboarding.

but california beachesa re better than florida's, and in florida atlantic beaches are better than gulf beaches. and its like 35 ft. from my back door to where the HIGH tide marker is so its cool. nothing better that taking a girl for a while on your private beach at night, and can do whatever you want cause the property line is actually like 3 ft under water.
