i was reading another board about a crx H22 swap, and they said its not that expensive of hard if you have a 5th gen crx, i dunno what gen mine is, but it isnt much more then a b16 but a lot better result i am assuming. and upgrading the front suspension and all that.... any info plz tell me, i am interested...

that is the one thing i absolutely love about hondas. All their motors are basically compatiable with everyone of their cars, including acura motors. I love it!

I wouldn't do a h22 in that CRX of yours. I would simply just get a turbo kit for it.

well i am doing the b16 sir I almost 100% since i have got good help from you guys.... but i dunno if that will be fast enough, and i rly cant afford a turbo, im to young to have a job.... i dont want no like 10 sec car, but like mid 13s iwill be happy....

I think u will get more power from a turbo then u will get from that b16SIR and if u go with a custom turbo it should run you less than 2grand

so turboing my HF with i think 62 hp will give me a gain of 100hp? isnt that kinda of a lot... when iget my b16 i am def going to change the rods, cams, valves, valve springs, and some other stuff cuz i heard they have horrible rods....

ah ok, if anyone has or woudl have a b16 what would they do to it first i mean internals...plz i am open for opinions and i need them...besides turboing im to poor..

you can find them for like $1,300 full swap... thats with about 10,000-35,000 miles on it

if you ever need the perfect combo of what to do with the b16...let me know. My friends got one with like 570 hp, so, you ever need tips let me know. and ill ask him. :-D

Isn't that the one, where you can swap to a b16 head and a few other componts, and that will jack the comprasion up and take you too mid 13s. You really don't need much power to be fast. You car weighs next to nothing. |

i dunno how u would put a DOHC head on a SOHC engine, but i know its rly light thats why i went with the HF cuz i know its 300 pounds lighter then they Si
