custom enclosures for trunk
anybody got any pics of custom enclosures??? trying to make up my mind what i want to do to my 98 accord, but i only want to do it once. i think i will be using two 10 inch mb quart subs and a jl audio amp. i wanna have a little trunk space at least and dont wanna spend just a ton of money, but at the same time i dont mind dropping a fairly large sum of cash for a really good custom enclosure. any ideas or input are appreciated, thanks.

make your own box. its cheaper and more rewarding. There are plenty of How-To's running around. And you'll be able to tune your box to the airspace req's for your subs. If you go to best buy and just buy a ten inch enclosure, your airspace inside wont be optimal.
The trick is you gotta know someone with wood cutting tools. A sheet of MDF board goes for 22 bucks, plus everything else you need: terminal cups, carpet, caulk, wire. I'll show you how mine turns out. |
