Maintenance....Tune Up??

Ok well...... I was supposed do a maintenance 5000 miles ago.... hehe... currntly I have 65000 miles on my ride.... now is maintenance same as tune up?? (silly question) and can I do it myself?? to save some cash (any online instructions for a 6th gen 4 cylinder Accord?)....

I am asking because I just have started working and I will have some cash for other stuff like the body kit I wanted for a long time and all that other good stuff......

Tune-up is a leftover term from when our cars had carbs, and they actually had to be "tuned" to keep working well.

Tune-up now just means scheduled maintainance. There's a checklist in your manual, and if you have some tools and some time you have probably do everything yourself. (except for something like alignment, but you probably do that on a different schedule anyway)

If you don't know what all of the maintainance steps refered to in the user manual are (and you plan on working on your car more than just once), pick up the Helms manual - it'll have step-by-step procedures and drawings.
