This is the last year before the university...So, you're in High School right? Ok, I find that it's really hard for me to pay attention if I'm really really bored. I can't sit still. It sounds weird but to focus more, I have to play with something or maybe draw...If I'm just sitting there all bored I will start to fall asleep. |

SERIOUSLY!!!! Listen to him. The real world sucks. I wish all that I had to do during the day was sit there and learn. The only thing that I like about being out of high school is that I can go out whenever I was because there's no such thing as "school nights" but starting in the fall, I go to a technical college part time and I still have to work |

ugh, don't even get me started on technical schools. i go to one now and it's completely killed my free time, not to mention the fact that there really aren't any girls there. quite sad.

And I'm not trying to be stereotypical when I say this but a lot of the technical school girls that I've seen were gross. I'm trying to think of a way to say it without sounding stuck up because I'm not at all. Uh. I'm not gross. |

I dont pay hardly any attention in school and manage to get a 3.25 GPA. And no, it isnt a joke school, its a hard school. My college counselor said I had one of the highest IQs in the grade, so if you want to have a decent GPA (3.25) without doing any homework and hardly paying attention, I suggest you get a really high IQ . Seriously though. I am going into senior year of high school, and am taking some very hard courses to enhance my college application. Basically I would suggest listening in class, not neccesarily writing a lot of stuff down. When I actually listen, I find I remember the material much clearer and much more in depth than just writing it down and memorizing it. And, well, I hate to say it, but homework is where the real applicable learning takes place. Basically just do what they tell you to: listen, organize, prepare, study, do homework, and you should be fine. Best of luck to you and everyone else out there about to embark on yet another year of school!

oh, pointers....hmmm, you could try to stay awake, but you'll get tired trying. anyway... take SAT as many times as you can including SAT2s!!! I miss high school, try to participate in EVERYTHING (yes in class also!) !! you'll regret it later in life if you don't (just a thought ). Studying helps, especially with friends ( alot of friends). Oh yeah, try to make new friends....blah blah blah i miss high school... most of all GOOD LUCK!

ok... i just graduated. heres my run down of how to pass senior year.....
first off, dont take anything hard, by now you know if your graduating with honors or not, and since your going to a bussiness school, thres plenty of nice bussiness schools that will accept you. i took tennis, art, english IV honors, economics honors, marine biology honors, and a BS computer class. i graduated with honors (17 honors credits out of 24 credits) and got a 1290 on my SAT first time sophmore year. theres no reason to make a hard senior schedual cause your college looks at your junior year. i'd start sending applications ASAP i cannot stress this enough, i waited too long, and i was freaking out in march when i wasnt sure where i was going. but once you get that accpetance letter, you only have to pass. i slacked off, and teachers KNOW seniors do this cause once your accepted to college thres like a 99.99999% that whatever your final grades are, as long as you dont get d's or f's your going to college, honestly my senior year was my most fun and easiest of them all. i got 4 a's and 2 b's and the 2 b's were in tennis(teacher refuses to give an A to anyone) and computer economics(its hard) but dont stress it, when your relaxed you do better.
