haha thanks everyone, I was in DC to get my test results from NIH for 3 days. and unfortunatly I have tested positive for HNPCC (hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer), my moms family carries the mutated gene that has increased my risk of colorectal cancer up to 80% chance as of age 21...so now I have to start with the colonoscopies next year ( a test every 1 to 2 years) to insure i dont develope cancer....oh well.
I got to spend the 3 days with my lady friend in DC with all expenses paid by the government ;-) |

That's a fucked up thing to hear on your birthday. I mean seriously...I'd have postponed that trip.

True...but by "checked regularly" you mean "get a camera stuck up my ass regularly". I don't know about you, but that's not my idea of fun. And yes...it was hard not to make a gay joke there.

heres how i figure it, my mom almost died a few years back from colon cancer. she's had colon cancer twice and skin cancer a few times.
my mother and her sisters and brothers never knew of this gene mutation. so I have a upper hand on them because i know ahead of time. I'll remain healthy, I intend milking as much as I can out of my life here |
