That's an aweful lot of powdercoating. I still rock all my stuff "metal" colored.

It's so easy though... and powder is cheap. I suck at painting even with hours of prep paint comes out like ass. With this stuff, I wiped it down, PCed it and it came out great. The satin colors come out fantastic as well.. I did a brake caliper and it came out kick ass.

You're right...it is pretty easy and cheap. It just wasn't ever my style really. I never plan on showing my car so it doesn't need to look all fancy.

I wouldn't mind learning how to do powdercoating on of these days. Not sure what Id powdercoat, but it holds up well if done correctly looks good if prepped right. Nice work.

Haha.. those are just test pieces.. random crap I had lying around or I bought for a couple bucks. Have not done anything I am actually going to use. I am actually going to build an oven to do motorcycle frames I think.. I want to start doing this for a little $ as well. For now I will do it for free for anyone that buys the powder..
All those pieces are with almost NO prep, sanding, buffing etc. |
