Newbie... exhaust from Fast and Furious

Hey guys,

Just signed up today... gotta question. Its prolly been beating to death, but I loved the sound of those 3 Civic's in the Fast and Furious... what kind of exhaust were they running on them? Brands? Any other brand that sounds like it? Thanks!!!

i dont think that holds too true........my friend has a 98 Accord, his muffler is as big if not a little bigger than mine......and it sounds so high pitched and LOUD.
my first muffler was bigger than the 2nd, and higher pitched as well. now my 3rd one is deeper than them all. yessss!

If you just want it to sound like the 3 black civic's, then just get a straight pipe with a tip. But personally, I like the greddy evo!

DC Sports exhausts tend to be on the higher pitched side. if you want high pitched, go with a Focuz muffler. my friends got one on his 98 Accord and g0d damn its soooo high pitched and loud.

however if you want loud but good sounding, cant beat a Tanabe RM. GReddy evo does sound good but id take the RM over it anyday since i like the style better.

those are digitally mastered sounds. it'll be hard to make a car sound like that.....maybe close to that is possible. it almost sounds like a straight pipe to me......

I had a Magnaflow muffler and a resonator installed by a muffler shop. its has a really nice deep tone which is not to load, and it only cost me $325.00 installed with a lifetime warranty

Are you serious?? Why do you want your car to sound like a dirt bike?

I dont think greddy is worth the cost to register there name. I had a friend a couple weeks ago just put a turbo on his civic and the shop that put it on said his greddy evo was killing his turbo. I have the greddy boost controller and ive never had so many problems with 1 item from any company. Greddy is suppose to be a good product?? Just my personal experiences.

I would go with the APEXi DUNK exhaust, with 2.5in piping up to the catbak, my buddie got one on a 98 civic ex and it sounds loud and deep, its pretty phat....check it out, not to mention APEXi makes good products....do the homework you'll see.

They did not sound like any dirt bike I know. My next door neighbor has a bike and no way does it sound like the Civic's.
