Tire Sizes
HEY got one small question and shoot me if its stupid
I currently have tires that are 195/65/15 now my question is if I get a tire size of 215/40/17..what is the chance of it rubbing on an 96 accord? and if it does what is the best size for 17" rims thanks |

Probably not, especially with 40s sidewalls. They don't rub on my '98 Accord.

It'll be fine! If the roads you drive on are rough, you can also go with 215/45/17, for a little more rim protection.

ive run both 205/40r17 and 215/45r17 and have not had a problem with either. i have a 99 thats about 3.5'' off the ground and i haven't had any problems until about 3 weeks ago i bent both pass. wheels due to something on the road (i had the 205/45's on the car ) and i hit alot of pot holes when i had the 215/45's and didn't have a problem
