I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to swap an h22 vtec into an 88-91 crx. i think it is possible but i'm hearing from some people that the engine won't fit into the rex engine bay. As it is right now is can get an awesome deal on an H22 front clip or B16 front clip. i would love to get the 22 but i need to know if it would fit.

yes it's possible, been done plenty of times

yep. Youll need mounts. and then it will fit fine.

I've heard from some people you will need to cut the firewall to stuff the H22 into the CRX. Since I've never done the swap I don't know for sure, but I'd do more research first.

thanks, i'm probably gonna end up getting a b16 or d16 engine and add a turbo and all the pistons and fuel management stuff.

If you are looking for the B16 front clip it will swap in just fine. The H22A will also work. The B16 front clip is only $1400 with headlights etc... on streetstyleracing.com. Ad is in top right hand corner of forums. Or just e-mail me and I can let you know more about the H22 swap
