well i was looking those up on car-stats.com and the 97 civic ex (same model as 99) runs a 16.6 1/4.
the only Teg GS they had was a 1990 and it ran the same. i did stumble across the 2000 Teg Type R runs a 14.8 1/4 STOCK!!! dayum. |

Eesh, 14.8 would be fun, yeah, you in the passenger seat....hang on. But I don't remember seeing a GS, a GS-R maybe...and it's got about 50% (170HP) more power, so I'd put my money on it over the EX. But if it's just got the LS engine it'd be kinda close...it'd come down to how good you are behind the wheel, and how bad the other person was...
Only one way to find out |

GS has the same engine as the LS, so DOHC Non-Vtec 140HP,
Civic EX SOHC Vtec 127HP. I think it will be about the driver. I'd take the Teg to edge out the civic |

the driver I think would play a major factor but I do still also think the Acura would pull off the win in the end.....

My friends lightly modded I/H/E ran 16.0, so it would be a pretty close race..
Sneak a small shot of N2O and youll take him easy..
