N2O questions....

Is it safe to leave the bottle open? Say for ever, or if I open it then go fo a 30-45 min drive and then turn it off?

The Civic HB DX has a dual port fuel injectioned directly into the carb and not into the cylinder like most cars. Will this effect the way a N2O system will work?

You could leave it open forever, but that's not a good idea. You want to relieve the pressure from the lines. A 30-45 min drive won't hurt it.

It won't affect a dry system (ie - ZEX) or a wet system(ie - NX). It will affect a direct port system though.

You had mentioned that it's not good to use it below 3k rpms. How bad would it be if you started the shot at 2500 or 2000 rpms?

What kind of system do you have Addict? Do you have pictures?

Well you generally want to get a god start first. Otherwise you'll just be spinning tires.

PICS
That's my 98 EX. I don't have N2O in my car now.

When you were running N2O did you have anything beyond the basic kit?

What did it cost to refil the bottle?

How long did the bottle last you?

Any words of advice for someone considering an N2O system?

Only ran once... 16.0 Too much wheel spin.

I had intake, exhaust, plug wires & misc suspension work.

$4 per pound. About $40 per fill.

Depends on how much you spray. Mine would last about a month at a time. Give or take.

Words of advice? Do it! Its one of the best feelings. You'll love the sudden kick of it.
