what engine
i have an '89 crx that was given to me when my business bought a friends new software (no block, bad interior/exterior etc.). it was free, what can i say. my tuning garage specializes in radical customs, and i mean radical. i'm planin' on makin' this into a real power house. first i need a block. what should i be lookin' for? i'm tryin' to get as much power under that hood as i can. i mean as much as i can. a horsepower figure would be nice here. the vp of my company has a teg w/ a chevy small block in it puttin' out 350hp! i'm lookin' at a chevy big block right now (with some serious chassis/body modification of course). what do u guys think?

dont go american, if you wana do something crazy, i'd say a rb26dett (skyline gtr v-spec engine) that would be wayyyyy more than that car can handle, if your gonna stay honda, get a h22 and turbo it, or if you have the fabrication power u say, get a c32(nsx engine) throw a turbo or supercharger on it and either of the 3 possibilyitys will put it in the low low 1/4 mile times
***car will not handle or be street drivable****

thats why i said if he can fabricate real well...... heh, that would be sick, i dont know i i'd throw a fire wall up behind the seats or try to shove the engine under the hood and start converting fabricating, breaking, jaming, throwing, and cussing untill its a FF car with a MR engine.

well, if it has to be streetable, a ITR engine might be your best bet.
