ok so since it is from a jap sold car does anybody know where you can get aftermarket preformance parts for it like headers down pipes manifolds and so on, do you have to have them shipped from Japan or or are there any american retailers that any body knows of. other wise doing a swap is sort of pointless since you cant put any parts on it.

b16 in del sol came in the 93-95 del sol vtec (b16a3) and 96-97 del sol vtec (b16a2 obd2a)
Thats a fact, so there's your proof.

Whether its jdm or not, makes zero difference. A b16 is a b16 is a b16.
Only difference between the generations is a slight change in cam specs and obd differences (from 0, 1, and 2 a and b)

but the CRX never came with a B series motor with the exeption of the Si-R and I don't hve one of them and from all of the looking that I have done there are diffs such as the length of the down pipe needing to be longer on the b series than on the d

And? You think the chassis is really that much different from the car in japan and the car here? Nope.
Don't mod the downpipe, mod the bpipe or the cat's length. Easier, cheaper.
Changing the exhaust is standard with all swaps.

NAT.... listen to what pdiggs is telling you. It doesnt matter which B16 bolt-on part it is, it will work the same regardless of what chassis (type of body) it is. Even 95% of B18C1/5 will work on your B16A123(whatever). Only a few electronic parts may differ. And yes, swapping a B-sereis into your CRX will require modifying your exhaust. Take that to a muffler shop and they will fix it for you....
