I love driving. that's really it. Even tho I own an Echo I intend on making it road course worthy and maybe even Touge. sure it won't be in the same class as others especially in the touge. but it's the thrill of tackling corners that makes me happy

Actually I'm not really in it any more. I still own the Honda, but it has been down graded to nasty weather bitch car. My bikes are priority.

because imports(Honda at least) are generally more reliable and better built than the alternative. thats about the only reason I'm in the "import scene".

85-92 and ben the whole point of getting a VW is because it's affordable power.. I can't even afford a R32, nevermind getting it tuned by HPA motorsports.

You'll know nothing of electrical nightmares until you work on a British car...especially an older one.

Get the 1.8t with basic mods and chipped your good for low 13s high 12s. The vr6 is more expensive but is good for higher power output. |

Actually, I got into this cuz I dont want to grow too old. I'm getting old. I need something to keep me thinking young. I have always been into fiddling with mechanical and electrical stuff. I enjoy fabrication as well. Plus I'm Asian like Lyna said... ha ha...
...... not so much for the "honeys". The girls around here are only hanging out with the scene cuz they have no rides.... and those who do drive imports and modifies it are not like Lyna who tears aprt motors and interiors. They are kind of big and dont know anything about cars but body kits and altezza lights....... |

I'll take that as an indirect compliment for me. Really though, I'm in it because it's something I actually want to learn about. It all really did start when I was 12 and my dear cousins were "racers." One had a red FD and the other an Integra GSR. They always let me watch them mod, and I said..one day, I'm gonna be faster than them. I then really became involve and was just looking at pictures in magazines. By 8th grade, I had to write an informative paper for state CIM and I wrote about the differences between a Z3, Miata, and MR2. I think the only reason I scored 5 across the boards was because the state raters didn't know what the hell I was talking about. At that point, I realized I love knowing things that others may not. I must admit, by the age of like, 15, it was kind of nice to be the only girl in school that was really into it, besides, I thought it was cool that guys dug it.
