i got a date tonight
and i'm clueless on what to do not to mention the fact i'm broke after i put a deposit today on a new car. Where should i take her out for only 2 hours and a half ? i need some ideas since it's been 6 years since i had a date (time flies)

I'm not sure what the weathers like where you are but why dont you just grab a bit to eat and get to know eachother better. I wouldn't really be to worried about not havin money. If the girl is dating you because she thinks you have it, well shes be long gone.
This is how i would set up a inexpensive date. Find out what type of food she likes and if shes interested in trying something new. Then take her out to a modestly price place, take your time when eatin and just shoot the shit so to speak. Then maybe if the weathers nice go for a walk around the area and just talk. How does that fly girls? |

hopefully it will stop raining this afternoon so i can go for a walk. as for the car it's a 92 accord lx coupe (i guess i got something for the 4th gens lx). all it needs to be done to it is change the rear upper control arms and it's rock solid. no rust no bent frame, strong engine. what sucks about it is automatic.

Awww, Stefan has a date! That's so cute! Well, you could rent a movie for about $4 (give or take a few dollars), so there's an option. The walk is a good idea too, it will allow you guys to talk. And if you have a dog, you walk your dog. Animals always go over good with girls. At least with me they do. I absolutely love dogs! Anyway, I hope you have a good time and you'll have to let us know how it went!

Haha. Dunno what you might get for $4, maybe PBR? I think the walk and the movie thing are good ideas. I guess it depends on the girl and what she's looking for....but if she can't handle a broke guy, then I think Rob hit the nail on the head when saying she won't be around for long. Haha. Hey, even if it's raining, nothing says ya can't go for a walk in the rain. Just leave wallet, cell phone, etc. at home and go walking around the park or something. b |

LMAO. no cheap six packs cause my head will hurt tomorrow. Quote:
i'll let you know how it went. i have no animals, and bringing her home is out of the question, at least when my dad is around with his stupid out of the ass jokes. I guess a walk around the mall, or a dinner someplace (yeah i got creditcards ). i'll see. now i think i gotta go remve theunused parts from the car (plugs, wires, coolant bottles, empty pop bottles) it's a mess after yesterday's fun.

Congrats Stefan!!! I was gonna actually say exactly what Erin said in her first line of her first post in here.....but I think you got enough "puppy dog" awww's out of her! As for what to do with $4....get a milk shake at the mall food court and share it???? maybe share a cheeseburger with that??? i'm not sure. Be happy you have $4...i only have 50 cents for the rest of the week . If you're willing to put dinner on your plastic I say go for it. Past that if I were you I'd probably take her back to my house even with my dad's lame ass jokes. At least then you have free entertainment and something to talk about on the ride back to her house.
Ok this is where my theory comes into play....you said she asked you out. She should techniqually have to pay for the date and plan the date. Thats just my opinion on things though.

i just drove in the park, stayed there for a while , talked and finally decided to go and watch the lake/river. I don't know why but she was reacting she knew me for a lifetime (not a bad thing), then i kind of let her take the lead. we bullshited about what we wanna do with our lifes and stuff, then i talked to her about my car (she seemed to enjoy that type of stuff), so before i knew it it happened. gotta love romanian chicks
