Custom made lips.
Ok here's the deal. i have access to tons of fiber glass and resin. I like to think i have pretty good fiberglass skills so it got me thinking. could i do my on side skirts and front and rear lips. I'v made complete sub enclosures and other audio projects so i want to step up to exterior styling. i was wondering if anyone has done this before and has any good tips. ie. paint to be used or layers of fiberglass. Any feedback is good feedback, so start replying.
oh and i would strip down where i'd put the new peices on and mold them right to the exsisting body, if that helps? |

well you would need some kind of molds to keep it consistant.. or you could just add on to what you have.. i say just go for it and see what you get.. just dont do anything permanent

good luck the most I've done was paint my skirts and lips that part is simple but it adds to the custom feel, don't care if it looks "professional" go for it expirement like a raging hippie
