The 0-60 is not that impressive. Especially since my car does 7.9 stock and its only a 4 cylinder. I'm telling you. Get the 1.8t.....

Yeah I don't see a twin turbo happening. Have you ever seen the engine bay of a VR6? There's not a whole lot of room.

VWs are very expensive to fix and get parts for. My old GTi cost a fortune to fix up.

the Supra TT already has 2 turbos, comes stock that way.
1993.5 - 1998 800+hp on a stock internal motor easily. no you cant beat everything, especially going from driving a civic to a supra - it'll take some learning. |

I would buy a 330i in stick and turbo that puppy. Its classy, not alot of people drive em, and hey i know for a fact you can take them above 150mph stock, well you have to remove the chip

VW rubs me the wrong way, I would much rather own a BMW then a VW. They say once you go BMW you never go back. A friend of mine drives a 325i bored out to a 3.0l engine and it does 0-60 in 5.9s He says its putting out around 230hp, and think how light that car is.. hmm yes!

hmm, i'm lookn at the RSX type s right now....*drool*
with a turbo, and the right tuning (intake, exhaust(headers, cat., muffler), pullys, fuel reg., some other bolt-ons) i think i'd have a damn fast car! am i right? |

Do you even have the slightest ****ing clue what you're talking about? A turbo with a header and intake? Okay. . . . The intake part is semi-legit (although you probably don't know why), and all turbo guys know why the header part isn't. And you consider tuning an intake, full exhaust, and other bolt-on parts? You need to do some research and get a clue. |

i tip the scale at 2961lbs slowej6... 2jz-gte is a inline 6, and its a toss up between that and the rb26dett for the "god" of 6's honestly, i'd look into the new WRX's or evo8's

OPAK,
Are you able to get any car you want? If so, get a Lamborghini Diablo VT. Hell with everything else. You really better read up on what you are going to do to your car. It'll make you look stupid when you talk to other people if you can't explain the details. Just a warning. Quote:
3087 lbs isn't that light.... Not to mention my stock Si could take out 325's all day. Now if its bored to 3.0L, I'll probably have a bit of trouble keeping up.

That's not that heavy. Also, all the weights you see are curb weight. No gas, no driver.
